so as I have gotten older (i’m only 24, but still) I have found it harder and harder to defend my undying affection towards pop punk bands/songs. in fact at times it seems that if you do enjoy this genre of music you are wearing a scarlet letter of some sort. but fuck that. I’m not saying I get a lot of guff for this on a daily basis, but still the fact that happens probably to SOMEONE on a daily basis is stupid. the above song is good. that’s all there is to it. it doesn’t matter who it’s by or what they look like, etc. it’s a damn good song, and I have no qualms admitting it. it popped up on my shuffle and reminded me of how perfect pop punk can be at times. don’t get me wrong, there is SHITTY pop punk, and actually most fall out boy songs could qualify for this category. but I don’t give a fuck this song is badass.
